2026年は8月2日から3日まで開催される、平川市の夏を彩るねぷたまつりです。平賀駅前からデイリーヤマザキ平川店付近にかけて、地元の町内会や子ども会が手がけたねぷたが笛や太鼓のお囃子に合わせてゆっくりと練り歩きます。弘前や五所川原のような大規模な祭りとは違い、顔なじみの参加者と観客が一体となる距離の近さが魅力で、津軽の小さな町に受け継がれてきた夏祭りの温かさをじっくり味わえます。
