Tips

The slope is gentle enough for strollers and there's an elevator, so families with children can visit with peace of mind. It's a short 10-minute walk from Sengen Grand Shrine, with admission of 300 yen for adults and free for high school students and younger. The view of Mt. Fuji from the observation hall depends on the weather, so visiting during sunny weather from late morning through early afternoon is recommended. The facility also has a café for resting after a meal.

Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. Until early afternoon, Mt. Fuji is less likely to be obscured by clouds, making the observation hall views ideal.
