A park developed within a forest spreading across the foothills of Mt. Fuji, featuring large-scale play equipment utilizing the warmth of wood and wide lawn areas where children can move their bodies freely and play. Surrounded by trees, the area remains relatively cool even in summer, making it an ideal place to pause after the excitement of the zoo.

2026年8月8日に開催される、富士山の裾野に広がる街・裾野市の夏を彩る阿波おどりです。裾野駅前中央商店街を中心に、地元の連や近隣から集まった踊り手たちが「ヤットサー、ヤットヤット」の掛け声とともに練り歩きます。編笠に浴衣の女踊りのしなやかさと、法被姿の男踊りの力強さが商店街の通りで交差し、富士山麓ののどかな街に夏らしい熱気が広がります。
Tips
商店街沿いは開始前から見物客で賑わいます。良い場所で見たい場合は16時台には到着しておくと安心です。周辺道路は交通規制がかかるので公共交通機関の利用がおすすめです。
Tips
Approximately 10 minutes by car from Fuji Safari Park. The play equipment area has plenty of shade, but don't forget to hydrate. A shop is also available for convenient rest breaks.
Best time to visit
Allow approximately 50 minutes. Late afternoon when intense sunlight diminishes is more comfortable.
