The Bird Sanctuary in one corner of Hikarigaoka Park (光が丘公園) is a nature observation area laid out around ponds and wetlands. Various wild birds such as ducks and small songbirds gather, and you can enjoy observing them fully even without binoculars. Much of the walking path is paved, making it easy to travel with a stroller. Before water play, it makes a quiet morning moment in touch with greenery and waterside scenery.

光が丘公園の水景施設(じゃぶじゃぶ池)は、無料で楽しめる水遊び場です。2026年は7月1日(水)から9月30日(水)まで、10時から16時の間で利用できます。ただし清掃やイベントのため、7月14日から21日、8月12日から14日、9月14日から16日は休止となるので訪問前に確認しておきましょう。浅い流れが中心のつくりなので、まだ泳げない小さな子どもでも安心して水にふれられます。周囲は緑豊かな光が丘公園の一角で、木陰も多く、遊び疲れたら涼みながら休憩できるのもうれしいポイントです。近所のおでかけ先として気軽に立ち寄れる、家族に人気のスポットです。

Tips

料金は無料ですが、休止期間や当日の開放状況は事前に公式情報で確認しておくと安心です。水は浅いとはいえ目を離さず、レジャーシートを敷いて荷物置き場を確保しておくと過ごしやすくなります。着替えは多めに持っていくと安心です。

Tips

It is within walking distance of Hikarigaoka Station on the Toei Oedo Line, an easy location to reach. In summer the morning is relatively cool and the creatures are more active, so visiting early in the day is recommended. Insect repellent spray makes the visit more comfortable.
