A shopping street spreading along the approach to Kawasaki Daishi, lined with long-standing specialties such as kuzumochi rice cake, cough drops and daruma dolls. Just walking and snacking gives you a full taste of old-town flavor, and neither children nor adults grow tired of it. At the end of the approach the main gate of Kawasaki Daishi comes into view, building anticipation for the visit ahead. It is also a plus that the early morning hours are relatively calm and easy to walk.

川崎区の入江崎総合スラッジセンター内にある、清掃工場の余熱を活用した屋内温水プールです。2026年は4月1日から通年で利用でき、営業時間は10時から20時まで(7・8月は9時から)。屋内なので天候に左右されず、雨の日でも計画通りに水遊びを楽しめるのが大きな魅力です。水温が管理された温水プールなので、肌寒い時期でも比較的快適に過ごせます。午後からゆったり入場し、夕方まで泳いだり水に浮いたりしながらのんびり過ごしましょう。

Tips

利用料金や貸し出し品の有無、混雑状況は公式サイトで事前に確認しておくと安心です。夏休み期間は利用者が増えるため、午後早めの時間の入場がおすすめです。水泳帽の着用が必要な場合があるので持参しておくと安心です。

Tips

It is just a short walk from Kawasaki-Daishi Station on the Keikyu Daishi Line. It gets busy with worshippers on weekends, so visiting early in the morning makes walking easier. Many souvenirs keep well, so buying more on the way back is also recommended.
