This photo stroll course through Fujiyoshida begins with the stunning vista of Mount Fuji seen beyond the vermillion five-story pagoda. Visit Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine and climb the 398 steps to the observation deck of Arakura Mountain Sengen Park, renowned even internationally. Descend to town to photograph Mount Fuji framed by the Kin-no-torii gate, then enjoy a lunch of the famous Yoshida udon. In the afternoon, collect spring water from Mount Fuji at a roadside station and experience the subzero temperatures at the Radar Dome Museum—a full day of Mount Fuji-themed fun for two with camera in hand.
