
Hakutori Shrine (白鳥神社) Summer Festival Fireworks 2026 - A Full Day Exploration Course
A full-day course to enjoy Higashikagawa City, centered around the Hakutori Shrine (白鳥神社) Summer Festival fireworks display held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 8 PM. In the morning, visit Hakutori Shrine, an ancient shrine of Sanuki, and take a walk through the nearby Hakutori Pine Grove with views of the Seto Inland Sea. In the afternoon, enjoy a historical walk through the Hiketa area with its preserved old town streets. In the evening, return to Hakutori Shrine to enjoy food stalls while waiting for the fireworks to begin. At 8 PM, approximately 1,000 fireworks will light up the shrine grounds for 30 minutes.
