2026: A Full Day at the Shiokaze Park (潮風公園) Fountain Plaza and Cascade

Shiokaze Park (潮風公園), facing the sea in Odaiba, has a cascade, a flowing channel about 130 metres long linking the south entrance and the central entrance, along with fountains and an artificial pond. This Shiokaze Park Fountain Plaza and Cascade is shallow, so even small children can put their feet in with peace of mind. In 2026 it operates all year, from Thursday 1 January to Thursday 31 December, from 10:00 to 19:00; in July and August from 10:00 to 20:00, and from October to March from 10:00 to 17:00. It stops during strong winds and during cleaning and inspection, so check the situation on the park's official page before you set out. Admission is free, and the grounds also have an observation deck, a barbecue area and a lawn plaza. The venue is Shiokaze Park in Shinagawa Ward, surrounded by the sightseeing area of Odaiba. In the morning, get in touch with the latest science at Miraikan, the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (日本科学未来館); at lunchtime eat at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza and look up at the life-size Unicorn Gundam statue. In the afternoon walk the sands of Odaiba Seaside Park, then enjoy water play at the Shiokaze Park Fountain Plaza and Cascade until dusk. Under a wide sky with the sea breeze blowing, a science museum, a giant statue, a sandy beach and water play, four experiences with very different characters, are joined into a single day.
