Savor the Famous Touge no Kamamesshi at Its Original Shop for Lunch
About this spot
The birthplace of 'Touge no Kamamesshi,' known nationwide as the quintessential station bento. The pottery bowl itself can be taken home as a souvenir.
Tips
It can get crowded with tourists during lunch hours. Taking out and eating on the grass at the Culture Village is also a great option. The Mizuko ware bowl can be used to cook rice at home after your trip.
