Leisurely stroll through seasonal flower fields with Mount Fuji as your backdrop
About this spot
A premier scenic spot in Lake Yamanaka boasting approximately 300,000 square meters of flower fields spread across a highland plateau at approximately 1,000 meters elevation with views of Mount Fuji. The fields showcase completely different seasonal beauty—spring tulips and nemophila, summer sunflowers and cockscomb, autumn cosmos. The paid area "Seiryu no Sato" features the Myojin Waterfall with a 10-meter drop and an all-weather greenhouse dome "Furara," ensuring comfort even on a highland where weather can change rapidly. The classic composition of Mount Fuji framed by flowers is perfect for your couple's souvenir photo.
Tips
The grounds are flat and easily navigable with a stroller or comfortable walking shoes. Parking is paid (approximately 300 yen for regular cars). Flower bloom times vary by season and weather, so check bloom conditions before visiting for the best results. Morning light, when the air is clear, is ideal for photographing Mount Fuji.
Best time to visit
