A shopping street stretching straight from the south exit of Chigasaki Station to Southern Beach, with the character of a seaside town. Surf shops, cafés, and local eateries line the street, and simply walking here elevates your Shonan spirit. Finish lunch here and stock up on light snacks and drinks to enjoy on the beach—this is the golden rule for fireworks day. It's also fun to walk while searching for spots related to a beloved artist associated with the area.

Tips

On fireworks night, the shopping street and convenience stores become extremely crowded in the evening, so complete your shopping early in the afternoon for peace of mind. The beach is about 15 minutes' walk straight down the street.
