Lake Yamanaka, the largest by area among the Fuji Five Lakes, is situated approximately 10 minutes by car from Oshino Hakkai. From the northern shore, Mount Fuji rises majestically directly ahead, and on clear summer days you can even see its reflection mirrored on the lake surface—a spectacular viewing point. With an elevation exceeding 1,000 meters, the lakeside remains pleasantly cool even in midsummer, making it ideal for a leisurely family walk along the forest trails. The lakeside is equipped with parks and open spaces where children can play on the grass or rest while taking in the views. It's the perfect spot for a refreshing break before the evening's fireworks display.

荒天時の開催可否は大会主催者の公式発表で確認を。終了後は周辺道路が混雑するため、帰りの車は時間差での移動がおすすめです。夜の忍野村は気温が下がるので、羽織ものは必ず手元に用意しておきましょう。足元が暗い場所もあるため、スマホのライトや小型ライトがあると安心です。
