2026年7月23日(木)開催、登別温泉のシンボルである地獄谷を舞台にした花火大会です。荒々しい岩肌と噴気が立ち上る谷の夜空に、20時から20時20分までの短い時間、花火が打ち上がります。赤鬼が登場する演出があることでも知られ、他の花火大会にはない個性的な雰囲気を味わえます。硫黄の香りと湯けむりに包まれた渓谷で見上げる花火は、登別温泉ならではの忘れられない体験です。
Tips
荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は事前に確認しましょう。展望台周辺は夜間暗くなるため、スマホのライトなど足元を照らせるものがあると安心です。
Tips
Restaurants in the hot spring town get busy in the evening, so arriving early is recommended. Hell Valley Observation Deck is about a 10-minute walk from the hot spring town. Watch your step in the dark, as the area becomes poorly lit at night.
Best time to visit
Approximately 2 hours 45 minutes. Around sunset, the hot spring mist creates a beautiful scene in the town.
