This is the climax of the 44th Yabakei Lakeside Festival, held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the Yabakei Dam lakeside. Because the lake sits in terrain surrounded by mountains, the launch sounds echo off the mountainsides, giving a sense of impact quite different from fireworks displays in the city. The glow of the fireworks reflected on the still lake surface is another highlight unique to this festival.
