About this spot
This is a park developed on the site of the former Hannya-ji Temple, known as a famous spot for autumn foliage, but in summer the thick greenery creates pleasant shade. Stone steps and moss-covered stone walls remain, giving the area a sense of history, and you can enjoy a quiet stroll. It's close to Maruike Spring, making it a characteristic Yuusui Town course where you can experience both greenery and water. It's an ideal spot to spend time while avoiding the summer sun.

2026年8月29日(土)開催、山あいを流れる川内川を舞台にした花火大会です。約5,000発の花火が川面を照らし、周囲を山に囲まれた立地のため音が反響して体の芯まで響く迫力を感じられます。名水と温泉に恵まれた湧水町らしい、自然と一体になった花火大会です。フィナーレの連発を見届けたら、家族で夏の思い出を胸に帰路につきましょう。
Tips
荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、当日は湧水町の公式発表を確認しましょう。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、少し時間を置いてからの移動がおすすめです。河原は夜間とても暗いので足元にご注意を。

About 10 minutes by car from Maruike Spring. Since the stone steps and ground are old, visit wearing comfortable walking shoes. It's about a 15-minute drive to Kurinodake Onsen.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour required. With plenty of shade, it's comfortable to spend time here even in the summer sun.
