錦江湾に突き出した人工島の緑地にある「マリンポートかごしま 親水広場」を主役にした1日コースです。2026年(令和8年度)の夏期は7月17日から31日まで、8月は毎日、9月は土日祝のみの開設で、時間は9時から17時(すべり台は16時30分まで)。鹿児島県が管理する港湾緑地の中にあり、じゃぶじゃぶ池とすべり台がならび、緑地や休憩施設、トイレも整っています。海をはさんで桜島が正面に見える、鹿児島ならではの水遊び場です。噴水エリアは噴出口などの構造物があるため立入禁止、オムツ(水着用オムツを含む)を着けている乳幼児の水遊びはできない、顔や頭を水につけないなどの決まりがあるので、出かける前に家族で確認しておきましょう。午前は鹿児島市立科学館で宇宙や自然のふしぎにふれ、お昼はイオンモール鹿児島でゆっくり休憩。午後は海風の抜ける親水広場で、夕方まで思いきり水遊びをする流れです。屋内と屋外を半日ずつ組み合わせるので、真夏でも体力を使いすぎずに一日を過ごせます。
