富士五湖の一つ、山中湖の湖上を舞台に打ち上げられる花火大会です。標高が高く空気が澄んでいる山中湖ならではの、くっきりとした花火と、湖面に映り込む光の両方を一度に楽しめるのが魅力です。夏の締めくくりにふさわしい大輪の花火が夜空を彩り、湖畔に集まった家族連れの歓声が響きます。

花火観覧の場所は早めに確保しておくのがおすすめです。夜の湖畔は標高の高さもあって冷え込むことがあるため、羽織ものを一枚持っていくと安心です。荒天時の開催可否は公式情報で確認してください。

About 15 minutes by car from Oshino Hakkai. The park has both paid and free areas—check ahead for smooth entry. The summer sun is intense, so bring a hat and sunshade for comfort.
Best time to visit
Allow approximately 1 hour. Afternoon light makes the contrast between flower fields and Mount Fuji particularly striking.
