やきものの町・瀬戸市を代表する秋祭り「せともの祭」は、2026年は9月12日(土)・13日(日)の開催で、その初日を訪れます。尾張瀬戸駅周辺から瀬戸川沿いにかけて、多くの陶磁器店が軒を連ねる大即売会が開かれ、日常使いの器から掘り出し物まで、思わぬ出会いが見つかる楽しさがあります。周辺には夜店も並び、やきものの町らしい活気とにぎわいに包まれます。昼に巡った歴史や小径の景色を思い出しながら、夜は家族でお気に入りの器を探してみましょう。
Tips
会場周辺は歩行者天国になり大変混雑するため、ベビーカーでの移動はゆとりを持って計画しましょう。陶磁器は割れ物のため、購入後の持ち運びには十分注意してください。駅周辺の駐車場は満車になりやすいため、公共交通機関の利用がおすすめです。
Tips
Sloped paths and stone steps are common, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Narrow alleys present challenges for photography; be considerate of foot traffic. From late summer through fall, the contrast between green vegetation and pottery colors is beautiful.
Best time to visit
Approximately 45 minutes. Soft afternoon light beautifully highlights the pottery-shard walls.
