The surrounding area takes its name from Arai Yakushi-mae station and is recognized as a historic corner of Nakano. 2026年の中野駅前大盆踊り大会は8月1日、2日の2日間、10時から21時まで、中野セントラルパーク内の四季の森公園を舞台に開催されます。朝から夜まで長時間にわたって開催される一日がかりのイベントで、日中は比較的ゆったりと、夕方以降は提灯の灯りに照らされた広場で輪になって踊る人々の熱気に包まれます。初日となる8月1日は、朝から中野の街を巡ってきた一日の締めくくりにふさわしい、開放的な公園ならではの盆踊りを楽しめます。

Tips

広い公園なので日陰が少ないエリアもあります。日中訪れる場合は日よけ対策をしっかりと。夕方以降は来場者が増えるため、良い場所で見たい場合は早めの時間帯からの滞在がおすすめです。中野駅から徒歩数分とアクセスも良好です。

Prayers are free. Since the grounds are situated within a residential area, please observe quietly during the morning hours. It's within walking distance of Arai Yakushi-mae Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line.

Best time to visit

Approximately 40 minutes. Early morning when there are fewer people is especially recommended.
