This area in the central zone of Takino Suzuran Hillside National Government Park gathers large play equipment. The white air-filled dome called the Fuwafuwa Egg is a classic that draws cheers with every bounce, and it is worth waiting in line for. The Rainbow Nest Dome, climbed over brightly colored nets, uses the entire body, so by the time play is over energy has been well spent. Lawns and shade are close by, and it helps that parents can watch from the shade. Moving vigorously in the morning makes it easier to settle into the afternoon water play.

札幌市南区の国営滝野すずらん丘陵公園にある「国営滝野すずらん丘陵公園水遊び場「森のせせらぎ」」は、2026年は6月12日(金)にオープンした浅い人工の水遊び場です。終了日は未発表のため、夏の後半に訪れる場合は開設状況の確認が必要です。木立に囲まれた浅い流れなので、まだ泳げない子どもでも自分の足で入っていけます。園内では厚別川など川遊びのできる場所もあわせて開放されており、人工の水遊び場と自然の川の両方を一日で体験できるのがこの公園ならではの魅力です。トイレ・駐車場・炊事場が整っているので、着替えや食事の段取りに困りません。料金は公園入園料が必要で、中学生以下は無料です。

Tips

天候や水温によって中止になることがあるため、出かける前に公式サイトで当日の開設状況を確認してください。川底には石があるので、必ず水遊び用サンダルを履かせましょう。森のなかは夕方に気温が下がるので、上に羽織るものを1枚持っていくと安心です。入園料は大人が必要で中学生以下は無料ですが、最新の料金と開園時間は公式サイトで確認してください。

Tips

The play equipment has recommended age ranges, so check the signs before letting children play. The Fuwafuwa Egg is used with shoes off, so shoes that are easy to slip on and off are recommended.
