About this spot

This is a facility for children run by the city of Obihiro, located inside Midorigaoka Park. It has a planetarium where you can sit and look up at a projection recreating the night sky of Tokachi (十勝). Inside there are exhibits you can touch and operate and spaces to play, and being able to spend time regardless of the weather is why local families rely on it. Midorigaoka Park also holds a zoo, an art museum and a history museum, so if you have time to spare you can walk over to one of them. It is air-conditioned indoors, which helps you get through the sunniest hours without using up energy.

かしわ児童公園噴水は、帯広市のかしわ児童公園にある無料の水遊び場です。2026年の開設期間はまだ発表されておらず、例年は夏休みの時期に合わせて水が出ます。プールのような水深がないので、水を怖がる年齢の子でも親の手のそばで少しずつ慣らしていけます。噴き上がる水に向かって走り込むという遊び方は、水に入るというより水と追いかけっこをする感覚に近く、小さな子ほど夢中になります。住宅街の中にある児童公園なので、近所の子どもたちが自然に集まり、はじめて会った子と一緒に走り出すこともよくあります。入場料も入れ替えもないので、遊んでは休んでを子どものペースで繰り返せます。

2026年の開設期間は未発表です。出かける前に帯広市の案内で、当日噴水が動いているかを必ず確認してください。天候や機器の点検の都合で止まっていることもあります。更衣室は用意されていない前提で、水着は下に着ていくと着替えが楽になります。噴水のまわりは濡れた床が滑りやすいので、走る前に足元を子どもと確認しておきましょう。日陰が限られるため帽子とレジャーシート、上がったあとの薄手の羽織を用意してください。

Tips

The planetarium has fixed projection times, so reserve a time when you enter and then tour the exhibits to avoid wasted waiting. Check the admission fee and closed days in the city of Obihiro's information in advance. Park in the lot inside the grounds and you can walk to the other facilities as well. Keep the visit to about 1 hour 20 minutes and save energy for the afternoon water play.
