A marketplace gathering Tokachi products, adjoining the Obihiro Racecourse (帯広競馬場). Vegetables, dairy products and processed goods delivered from fields and ranches are lined up, and just looking at the shelves tells you what the land of Tokachi produces. For children, it becomes a place where they can see with their own eyes where the food they always eat comes from. There are also places to eat inside, so anyone who wants a light meal can have it here. If it is a race day at the Banei Horse Racing Track next door, you can watch huge horses pulling sleds in a form of racing found nowhere but Hokkaido.

南公園噴水・霧状噴水は、帯広市の南公園にある無料の水遊び場です。2026年の開設期間はまだ発表されておらず、例年は夏休みの時期に合わせて水が出ます。噴水に加えて霧状の噴水があるのが特徴で、いきなり水を浴びるのが苦手な子でも霧のほうから慣らしていけます。プールのような水深がないので、水を怖がる年齢の子でも親の手のそばで遊べます。街なかの公園なので、買い物や食事のあとにふらりと寄れる気軽さがあります。日差しの下では霧が虹のように光ることがあり、それを見つけるのも子どもにとっては大きな出来事になります。

2026年の開設期間は未発表です。出かける前に帯広市の案内で、当日噴水が動いているかを必ず確認してください。天候や機器の点検の都合で止まっていることもあります。更衣室は用意されていない前提で、水着は下に着ていくと着替えが楽になります。噴水のまわりは濡れた床が滑りやすいので、走る前に足元を子どもと確認しておきましょう。日陰が限られるため帽子とレジャーシート、上がったあとの羽織を用意してください。
