According to the official information from Tawaramoto Town, the fountain is scheduled to operate from Saturday, June 13, 2026 (Reiwa 8) through Wednesday, September 30, from 9:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon. The Event Plaza is a facility with the themes of connecting, conversing, and relaxing, and an adjoining community hall with an outdoor stage and Japanese-style rooms A, B, and C. There is no depth like a pool, so even children who have only just started walking can safely touch the water alongside a guardian, which is the main appeal. No fountain opening event will be held at the Event Plaza this fiscal year, but the fountain itself can be enjoyed through the summer as scheduled. Being in the middle of town, there are many options for extra supplies and meals, so it is easy to regroup if the plan slips, which families appreciate.

Tips

The fountain is scheduled to run until 5:00 in the afternoon, so allowing time to change and getting out of the water around 16:30 makes for a calm departure. Operation is a plan and may change due to weather and other factors, so check the official Tawaramoto Town information before setting out. There is little shade in the plaza, so bring a hat and a picnic sheet and take frequent breaks. The stone paving is slippery when wet, so sandals that protect the feet are reassuring. Children who are not yet toilet trained should have swim diapers.
