Affectionately known as "The Aquarium in the Forest," this freshwater fish specialty aquarium is powered by Mount Fuji's natural spring water. The signature dual-circulation tank features large fish like rainbow trout on the outer ring and small fish on the inner ring, creating a mesmerizing effect where fish of different sizes appear to swim together. The exceptional transparency created by Fuji's spring water is breathtaking—watching forest light filter through the crystal-clear water is utterly enchanting. The compact, easy-to-navigate interior is perfectly sized for young children's aquarium debut.

Tips

Admission is approximately 420 yen per adult and even more affordable for elementary school children and younger. The aquarium is located within Sakana Park (さかな公園), surrounded by forest; after viewing, you can enjoy playtime on the park's lawn and playground equipment. Parking is free, strollers are permitted inside, and diaper-changing facilities are available. It's a reliable shelter option on rainy days.

Allow approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Afternoons allow for relaxed viewing, and you have plenty of time to enjoy even before closing.
