The Okoshiki Shopping Center displays nori seaweed and shellfish from Ariake Sea, fresh seafood, vegetables from local farms, and Kumamoto's celebrated citrus fruits—the maritime and mountain bounty of Uto. The restaurant serves seafood set meals and marine delicacies, with views of the harbor landscape dotted with yacht masts outside the windows. After a meal, rest on the lawn while enjoying the sea breeze—a pleasant interlude. Located right near Okoshiki Kaigan, it is perfect as a place to refuel before afternoon scenic viewing and to hunt for souvenirs.
