2026 Kishiwada Danjiri Matsuri One-Day Highlights Course
This one-day course puts the first day of the nationally famous Kishiwada Danjiri Matsuri (held September 19-20, 2026) center stage. In the morning, discover the history of the old castle town at Kishiwada Castle (岸和田城), then spend a quiet moment at the adjoining Japanese garden, Gofuso (五風荘). At the Danjiri Kaikan (だんじり会館), see a full-size danjiri float up close, and enjoy a seafood lunch at Kishiwada Kankan Bayside Mall (カンカンベイサイドモール) by Kishiwada Port. Then experience firsthand the power of yarimawashi, the climax of the Danjiri Matsuri that races through the old castle town area around Kishiwada Castle from 6am to 10pm.
