2026 Naruto City Awa Odori - Full Day Experience Course
A full-day course centered on Naruto City Awa Odori, the opening day (August 9, 2026) of this traditional performing art that showcases the charm of Naruto alongside the famous Naruto Whirlpools. During the day, pray for the family's safety at Ohasahiko Shrine, explore the lesser-known history at the German Museum where Beethoven's Ninth was first performed in Japan, and gaze down at the dynamic Naruto Whirlpools from the Whirlpool Route of the Naruto Bridge Memorial Museum Edy. In the evening, enjoy an early dinner at the station-front shopping district, then from 7 PM, witness the energetic Awa Odori performance with its gongs and drums raging around the makeshift stage near JR Naruto Station until 10 PM. A greedy course where you can experience history, nature, and authentic traditional dance all in one day.
