A cultural theme park that recreates the streets of the Edo period, and the moment you pass through the gate, you're transported to the world of period drama. Staff dressed as ninja and town girls walk among streets lined with merchant houses and samurai residences. The main attractions are the shows performed on stage, including authentic action-packed ninja shows and spectacular courtesan performances that will have you on the edge of your seat. The ninja museum with mechanical tricks and maze-like attractions are perfect for elementary schoolers who love physical activity. If you rent ninja or samurai costumes and walk through the village, the immersion is at its peak. A perfect place for family memories where your camera won't stop clicking.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from Noboribetsu Onsen Town, or about 5 minutes by bus or taxi from JR Noboribetsu Station. Day-pass entry includes shows at no additional charge (some experiences have separate fees). Check the show schedule when entering the village to plan your route efficiently. The park is large, so wear comfortable walking shoes.

Best time to visit

Approximately 2 hours required. Afternoon is best for hitting times when shows run frequently for efficient touring.
