A farm park at the foot of Mount Iwate in Hachimantai City's Hirakasa area, where the entire agricultural grounds become your playground. The main attraction is interacting with fluffy alpacas—feed them through the fence and their adorable expressions and quirky personalities will steal your hearts. Throughout the grounds you'll find seasonal flower fields, shops selling local products and crafts, and a café. Gelato and sweets made from farm-grown ingredients are popular offerings. With free admission and a relaxed pace for wandering, it's wonderfully casual. After a drive filled with scenic vistas, this is the ideal place to end your journey with healing moments among animals and flowers, sharing memories of your adventure.
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from Yakebashiri Lava Flow and close to the Nishi-ne IC on the return route. Alpaca feed is available for a fee with limited quantities—head to the interaction area first upon arrival. Operating hours and animal interaction times vary seasonally, so confirm in advance.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. An evening stroll in soft light is especially pleasant. Check closing time in advance
