This park, developed along the banks of the Mogami River (最上川) in Nagai City, is a place cherished by local residents and known for its spring white azalea festival. From the park you can view the flow of the Mogami River up close, letting you feel during the day the grandeur of the river where fireworks will launch tonight. The riverside promenade has shade, making it possible to walk comfortably even during a summer day. It's the perfect spot to watch the river's flow with your children while imagining the fireworks to come at night. It's also close to Mogami River Riverside Green Park (最上川河川緑地公園), the fireworks venue, so checking the terrain and atmosphere around the venue during the day will make your route smoother at night.

About a 20-minute walk from Nagai Station (長井駅), or convenient by bicycle or car. Admission to the park is free. Some spots along the river have little shade, so don't forget a hat and to stay hydrated. Use this stop to get a sense of the distance to the fireworks venue at night.
