Through the exhibits, you'll come to appreciate that the river and town scenery you've walked today is built upon layers of history. It's also a welcome bonus for families to be able to view exhibits while cooling off on a hot summer afternoon. 2026年8月8日(土)19時30分開始、ながい水まつりのクライマックスを飾る最上川花火大会です。最上川の川上から打ち上がる約3,500発は、山形の大河・最上川の川幅いっぱいに広がり、川面に映る光の揺らぎとともに夜空を彩ります。川沿いの会場は周囲の建物が低く視界が広いため、大きな花火を遮るものなく正面から楽しめるのが最大の魅力です。山形の夏祭りの伝統を受け継ぐ水まつりの夜は、地元の人々と一緒に川の風と花火の音に包まれる、旅の忘れられない1ページになるはずです。フィナーレの連発が川と空を同時に照らす瞬間を、家族全員でじっくり見届けましょう。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は長井市・長井商工会議所の公式発表で必ず確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路と長井駅方面が混雑するため、フィナーレ後は河川敷でしばらく余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめです。フラワー長井線の帰りの電車時刻は事前に確認しておきましょう。足元が暗いので小さなライトがあると安心です。
