You can observe the seals' adorable movements and swimming up close, and the appeal lies in how near you can get to these marine creatures. Through the exhibits, you can also learn about the natural environment of the Sea of Okhotsk and wildlife conservation efforts. It's a spot where even small children can enjoy deepening their understanding of marine life.

Tips

Access by car from central Monbetsu is convenient. Check the facility's information for admission fees. Since the exhibits are mostly indoors, it's also a good place to take a break during the hot hours of summer.
