A café in central Fukagawa that opened on Christmas Eve in 1978 and has been run by a married couple ever since. Inside, where jazz plays, exhibitions of paintings, photographs, and stained glass rotate monthly, and the café offers more than 30 varieties of pasta made with local vegetables and cod roe. On the day of the festival, the shopping street in front of the station gradually gets busier from the evening, so picking up dinner and drinks here at this time makes it easier to secure a spot at the venue.
Tips
Right by JR Fukagawa Station (深川駅). Crowds are expected from the evening onward on the day of the festival, so shopping early is recommended.
