About this spot

This campground spreads along the shores of Lake Kanayama, an artificial lake created by damming the Sorachi River. On the highly transparent lake surface, you can experience canoeing and kayaking, and the time spent paddling on waters that reflect the surrounding mountains is truly special. A walking trail is also developed along the lakeside, making it enjoyable even just for taking leisurely walks. Since it's in a high-altitude area, even in summer the breeze is refreshingly cool, making it a spot where you can forget the heat of the city.

2026年7月25日(土)開催、かなやま湖畔キャンプ場を会場にした花火大会です。山々に囲まれた湖の上空に花火が打ち上がり、周囲の山に音が反響して体に響く迫力があります。静かな湖面に映る「逆さ花火」の美しさも見どころのひとつです。涼しい山の夜風とともに楽しむ、夏の締めくくりにふさわしい花火です。

Tips

荒天時は中止または延期となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は事前に確認しましょう。終了後は帰り道が混み合うことがあるため、少し余韻を楽しんでからの時間差帰宅がおすすめです。

Vehicle access from the center of Minami-Furano Town is convenient. Canoe experiences may require advance reservations, so please check beforehand. Since the waterside can be slippery, wear shoes suitable for walking.
