岸和田城下・旧市地区一帯を舞台に、2026年9月19日(土)6時から22時、20日(日)9時から22時にわたって行われる、全国的にも有名な祭りです。重さ4トンを超えるだんじりを豪快な速さで曳き回し、街角を直角に曲がる「やりまわし」は、この祭り最大の見せ場として知られています。朝の「曳き出し」から夜のちょうちんを灯した「灯入れ曳行」まで、時間帯によって異なる表情を見せるのも魅力で、1日を通して城下町全体が熱気に包まれます。
Tips
だんじりの通り道には絶対に近づかず、安全な観覧位置から見学しましょう。会場周辺は終日交通規制がかかるため、公共交通機関の利用が必須です。長時間の観覧になるため、休憩や水分補給をこまめに。

About 15 minutes by car from the Danjiri Museum. Roads tend to be congested during the festival period, so allow extra time for travel.
