A museum dedicated to the Kiriko festival tradition found throughout the Noto region, featuring numerous displays of actual Kiriko floats, some reaching over 10 meters in height. You can experience the grandeur of these massive lantern floats that parade through town, and the museum's explanatory panels describe the festival's history and the distinctive features of each district's Kiriko. This museum is perfect for preparing to enjoy Wajima Taisai more deeply. With many photogenic spots throughout, your family can get a preview of the festival atmosphere.

The museum is easily accessible from Wajima city center. Photography is allowed in many areas, but please follow any posted guidelines regarding flash use.
