This confectionery has been loved in Obihiro for a long time and is well known for its sweet potato confection sold by weight. The shop fills with the aroma of freshly baked sweet potato, and just peering into the display case makes children's eyes light up. Locals use it for gifts and everyday snacks, so it is less a tourist specialty than a flavor of daily life. Buying a snack here to eat after the afternoon water play gives you something to look forward to on the tired walk home. If there are seats for eating in, it also works well for a cool rest.

かしわ児童公園噴水は、帯広市のかしわ児童公園にある無料の水遊び場です。2026年の開設期間はまだ発表されておらず、例年は夏休みの時期に合わせて水が出ます。プールのような水深がないので、水を怖がる年齢の子でも親の手のそばで少しずつ慣らしていけます。噴き上がる水に向かって走り込むという遊び方は、水に入るというより水と追いかけっこをする感覚に近く、小さな子ほど夢中になります。住宅街の中にある児童公園なので、近所の子どもたちが自然に集まり、はじめて会った子と一緒に走り出すこともよくあります。入場料も入れ替えもないので、遊んでは休んでを子どものペースで繰り返せます。
