Izu Kogen: Omuro Mountain Lift and Jogasaki Coast

A refreshing one-day course. Ride the lift up green Mount Omuro, shaped like an upturned bowl, and take in the sea and the Izu Kogen highlands all around from the summit. At Izu Shaboten Zoo (伊豆シャボテン動物公園) at its foot, children are captivated by close encounters with capybaras, squirrel monkeys and other animals. In the afternoon, head for a seaside adventure along the lava-carved Jogasaki Coast, crossing the thrilling Kadowaki Suspension Bridge. It all wraps up at Izu Granpal Park (伊豆ぐらんぱる公園), where everyone can run around to their heart's content: an Izu Kogen outing the whole family will love.
