Toyokawa Inari Temple & Inari Sushi Food Walk in the Temple Gate Town
A one-day course combining temples, shrines, and gourmet experiences that takes you through Toyokawa Inari, counted among Japan's three greatest Inari shrines, and its famous gate-town known for inari sushi. After passing through the thousand-gate vermillion torii approach, greet the stone foxes at Reiko-zuka, then head to the main approach street to taste and compare tawara-shaped inari sushi from different shops. In the afternoon, enjoy free admission to Akatsuka Mountain Park where even grandchildren can play freely, and finish with a leisurely stroll through the Mie Pine Grove along the old Tokaido Road. A classic plan that all three generations—from grandparents to children—can enjoy together.
