In the morning, view the stone walls on the mountain from the observation deck at Riyuun Gorge (立雲峡), then climb Takeda Castle Ruins. Learn the history at the Information Center Sky Castle (天空の城) at the castle town base, and in the afternoon, explore the mine shafts of Ikuno Silver Mine (史跡生野銀山), one of Japan's premier mining heritage sites. End with Tajima beef cuisine and souvenirs at Michi-no-Eki Tajima-no-Mahoroba. A day of spectacular views where friends will cheer together.
