Iwaki Onahama: Aquamarine Fukushima and Harbor Stroll

A course that showcases Aquamarine Fukushima, an interactive aquarium themed around the "Shiome no Umi" (Tide Meeting Sea) where the Kuroshio and Oyashio currents meet, and lets you fully enjoy the port town of Iwaki Onahama in one day. After delighting in the large barefoot touch pool "Janomedoki Beach" (蛇の目ビーチ), enjoy a seafood lunch at Iwaki-ra-ra-Mieu (いわき・ら・ら・ミュウ), a tourism and souvenir center, while overlooking the harbor. In the afternoon, leisurely stroll along the waterfront of Onahama Port, play freely on the large play equipment at Misaki Park jutting into the sea, and finish with a sweeping panorama of the Pacific Ocean from Iwaki Marine Tower. With minimal travel between locations and plenty of rest areas, it's a full day of sea-centered fun that families with small children can enjoy with peace of mind.
