Futami: Shimonada Station and Michi-no-Eki Futami, a Sunset Seaside Stroll
This date course follows the Yuyakekoyake Line (夕やけこやけライン) along the Iyo Sea, tracing one breathtaking seaside view after another. It begins with a morning stroll at Goshikihime Kaihin Park (五色姫海浜公園), home to the legend of the five-colored stones, then continues through time spent by the sea: the white sandy beach of Futami Seaside Park (ふたみシーサイド公園), a Sanctuary for Lovers, and a seafood lunch at Michi-no-Eki Futami (道の駅ふたみ). The highlight is Shimonada Station (下灘駅), famed as the station closest to the sea. With nothing but sea and sky stretching beyond the platform, the scenery turns even the most casual conversation into something special. The day wraps up at Shimonada Coffee (下灘珈琲) near the station, with a cup of hand-drip coffee in hand as you watch the sunset. With the sea and the setting sun as the stars of the day, this is a course that gently brings two people closer together.
