2026 Hisai Fireworks Festival: A Full-Day Course
This full-day course lets you enjoy the Tsu City Hisai area from midday, centered around the Hisai Fireworks Festival (久居花火大会) held on Saturday, August 1, 2026. In the afternoon, take a leisurely stroll through the Hisai town center, which still retains traces of its history as the former Hisai Domain's castle town, and enjoy the rich nature of the Hisai-Sakakibara area. In the evening, fill up on dinner made with Mie Prefecture ingredients at a local roadside station. After dark, head to the Ground Self-Defense Force Hisai Camp Ground (陸上自衛隊久居駐屯地グラウンド) to watch up close as fireworks launching from 7:45 PM color the summer night sky of Tsu.
