2026 Kumagaya Fireworks Festival Full-Day Course
Featuring the Kumagaya Fireworks Festival held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, this is a full-day course to enjoy the Kumagaya area in northern Saitama Prefecture from afternoon through evening. In the afternoon, we explore the center of Kumagaya, known as "Japan's hottest city," and take a breath at the lush Kumagaya Central Park along the Hoshikawa River, then head to Atago Yasaka Shrine, the stage of the Uchiwa Festival that symbolizes Kumagaya's summer. In the evening, we move to the banks of the Arakawa River to secure a spot and have dinner, and when night falls, we look up at the spectacular fireworks from the riverside below the Arakawa Bridge. This is a plan where your family can fully enjoy a Kumagaya summer night, with the vast riverside and summer night sky becoming one.
