2026 Suito Kurawanka Fireworks Festival - Full Day Course
A full-day course to enjoy the Hirakata and Takatsuki areas from afternoon through evening, centered around the Suito Kurawanka Fireworks Festival held on September 20, 2026 (Sunday). In the afternoon, enjoy a historic walk through Hirakata-juku dating back to the Edo period, and relish the autumn breeze in the vast riverside park along the Yodo River. In the evening, grab dinner around Hirakata City Station, then head to Yodo River Riverbed Park to secure a viewing spot. As darkness falls, 4,877 fireworks light up the night sky and the Yodo River's surface beginning at 7:10 PM. The fireworks bursting above the Yodo River—the source of what is known as the "Water Capital" of Osaka—make a particularly striking impression on an autumn evening. A must-do plan that combines a historical town walk with riverside fireworks viewing in autumn Hirakata and Takatsuki.
