2026 Matsuri no Beoka Fireworks Festival - Full Day Course
A one-day course to fully enjoy the charms of Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Prefecture, with the Matsuri no Beoka Fireworks Festival held on July 19, 2026 (Sunday) as the highlight. Nobeoka is a river city where the Gokase River (五ヶ瀬川) and Ose River (大瀬川) flow, a place where you can feel the nature and history nurtured by mountains and rivers up close. In the daytime, enjoy a panoramic view of the cityscape and mountains from Shiroyama Park (城山公園), which contains Nobeoka Castle ruins. In the afternoon, enjoy the views overlooking Nobeoka's streets from Atago Shrine (愛宕神社) on Mount Atago. In the evening, savor local cuisine around Nobeoka Station and grab a bite, then move to the Ose River riverbed to secure a spot. At night, enjoy approximately 10,000 fireworks launching downstream from the Ose Bridge (大瀬大橋), along with the river breeze. A perfect family-friendly plan to leisurely enjoy Nobeoka's summer over the course of a full day.
