2026 Himi Matsuri Fireworks Festival - Full Day Experience Course
A full-day course celebrating Himi City's sea and town, centered on the Himi Matsuri Fireworks Festival to be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Himi is known as a port town blessed with the natural beauty of Noto Peninsula National Park and as one of Japan's leading sources of winter yellowtail. In the afternoon, enjoy seaside walks at Himi City Seaside Botanical Garden and savor Himi's food and products at Himi Gyokou Gaigai Ichiba Himi Banya-gai. In the evening, secure a spot at Himino-e Park and enjoy the sunset views of the Tateyama mountain range across Toyama Bay while waiting for the show. As darkness falls, approximately 5,500 fireworks burst open in succession against the night sky above Toyama Bay, with their light reflecting beautifully on the sea surface.
