2026 Usui River Shimonakosu Fireworks Festival Full-Day Course

Centered around the Usui River Shimonakosu Fireworks Festival to be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, this course invites you to spend a full day enjoying the natural beauty and rich history of the Yamanashi City and Usui River area. During the day, visit Daizenji Temple (大善寺), a celebrated temple in Koshu, to appreciate the Important Cultural Property statue of Yakushi Nyorai and grape carvings. In the afternoon, stroll through the abundant greenery of Mankoku Park and along the gentle flow of the Usui River. In the late afternoon, stop by Michi-no-Eki Yamanashi Misaka roadside station to gather local gourmet foods for an early dinner, then head to the riverbank in front of Mankoku Park to secure your viewing spot. As darkness falls, enjoy approximately 5,000 magnificent fireworks launching from the Usui River embankment downstream of Mankoku Bridge, set against the night sky nestled among the surrounding mountains.
