2026 Takatsu River Fireworks Festival Full-Day Experience Course

A full-day course to fully enjoy the nature and culture of the Masuda area, centered around the Takatsu River Fireworks Festival held on Saturday, August 22, 2026. In the afternoon, visit scenic spots overlooking the Sea of Japan and ancient temples associated with Masuda, and replenish energy while savoring local cuisine at roadside stations in the evening. After sunset, move to the riverbed at the mouth of the Takatsu River and look up at fireworks rising into the summer night sky from the riverbank. A Masuda summer plan to be spent along the Shinshū Clear Stream, the Takatsu River. A recommended course for families that allows you to fully enjoy the unique Masuda landscape sandwiched between a clear stream and the Sea of Japan day and night. After the fireworks end, slowly enjoy the lingering night breeze at the riverbank before heading home.
