2026 Numata Hongo Summer Festival Fireworks Display: A Full-Day Course

This is a full-day course centered on the Numata Hongo Summer Festival Fireworks Display (沼田本郷夏まつり花火大会), held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, letting you fully enjoy the Hongo area of Mihara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, from midday onward. In the afternoon, savor local specialties at Michi-no-Eki Hongo (道の駅本郷) and enjoy views of the Geiyo Islands (芸予諸島) and the Seto Inland Sea (瀬戸内海) from the Ryuo-zan Observatory (竜王山展望台). In the evening, move to the Numata River (沼田川) riverbed downstream of Hongo Ohashi Bridge (本郷大橋), securing a spot early while cooling off in the evening breeze. Once night falls, fireworks lighting up the river's surface color the night sky. Surrounded by the waterside of the Numata River and the rural hills of Hongo, this is a uniquely summer-in-Hiroshima day course.
